(DURING COVID-19 CRISIS)

Important Update (8/24/2020)

Effective, Monday, August 18, 2020, a student must obtain a Work Permit from their home school. If the home school is unable to issue the work permit, the student may request to have the work permit issued by the Los Angeles Unified School District Work Experience Education Office. However, a work permit will only be issued to the student if the following documents are presented (please hover over hyperlink to download file)

  • Statement of Intent to Employ a Minor and Request for a Work Permit - Certificate of Age B1-1 form (original signatures from the student, parent, and employer).

  • Work Permit Authorization Obtained from the student's home school on School Letterhead.
